Flexim Roof Putty & Ready-To-Use Roof Mortar Strips
Say goodbye to cracked sand and cement with our premium range of Flexim roof putty at The Roof Shop. Since 1985, Flexim has been a globally proven, ready-to-use roof mortar designed for the fast repair, renovation, and new construction of pitched roofs. Packaged in lightweight, pre-formed strips, it provides an instant and permanent solution for the emergency re-bedding of loose, dangerous ridge and hip tiles.
Formulated with natural vegetable linseed oil, this environmentally friendly roof tile adhesive putty remains permanently flexible over its lifespan, ensuring it seamlessly absorbs the natural expansion, contraction, and structural movement of the building envelope without degrading.
Key Benefits of Flexim Roof Putty Strips:
- Tested Storm-Proof Protection: Once applied, Flexim provides exceptional wind uplift resistance, successfully withstanding extreme gale-force wind speeds of up to 110 Mph.
- Instantly Waterproof Formula: Because it is primarily composed of linseed oil, it is immediately water-resistant upon installation and will not wash out if caught in a sudden downpour.
- Massive Time & Cost Savings: Ready to use straight out of the box with no on-site mixing required. It cuts material preparation down completely, making installations up to 50 percent cheaper than traditional sand and cement methods.
- Lightweight & Malleable: Highly compliant and easy to form by hand using a standard putty knife, eliminating heavy lifting while working at height on scaffolding or ladders.
- Extreme Temperature Resilience: Can be applied safely across a vast range of climates, performing perfectly from below-freezing winter conditions to high summer heat.
Priced competitively at just £6.50 excluding VAT (£7.80 including VAT) per unit, we stock Flexim strips in a diverse choice of standard colors—including Grey, Black, Red, and Dark Brown—to ensure a seamless, professional match with your existing concrete, clay, or slate roof tiles.
